Lea Tarnowski
Lea is the President & COO of Averon, the world’s safest and easiest mobile identity & payment platform. Lea’s career began with investment banking and private equity at Morgan Stanley. She has spent the last decade investing, including 5 years with Northzone, one of Europe’s leading VC funds. There Lea focused on the Fintech, mobile and marketplace sectors & made investments such as iZettle & Artfinder.
Lea has spent the last couple of years as an angel investor, Board member and advisor in San Francisco where her portfolio includes Zesty, Boosterfuels, Qapital & more. Lea primary areas are Fintech and Cybersecurity and she has extensive experience in consumer. Lea is a Kauffman Fellow and holds a Harvard MBA and an MSc in Business Administration from Stockholm School of Economics and HEC Paris. She has served on a variety of corporate Boards as well as on the Board of SVCA, the Swedish Venture Capital, and Private Equity Association. She has served as a mentor at various accelerators and was a Hybrid Reality fellow. She is a nutritionist, a former fitness instructor and a hobby Guinea pig for performance hacking.
