Shalini Khemka
Shalini founded E2Exchange (E2E) in 2011.
E2E’s mission is to be the main catalyst for entrepreneurial growth in UK and then Internationally and its vision is to enable extraordinary entrepreneurship. It does so through facilitating high quality connectivity between scale-up founders, angel investors, high quality Non-Exec Directors and the UK’s leading corporate organisations.
Through it’s partnership with Regus and Spaces, E2E provides flexible office space and co-working facilities at preferential rates to E2E Members across the UK and though it’s partnership with Downing, provides a GBP50m investment facility to high growth SMEs.
E2E’s Board include; Lord Bilimoria CBE DL, Duncan Bannatyne OBE, Kanya King MBE, Hugh Chappell, Russ Shaw and Darryl Eales. Its corporate partners include LDC, UBS, KPMG, Regus, Catalyst Corporate Finance, Memery Crystal, Metro Bank, Experian, Pitchbook, Ellis Whittam and Newgate.
Shalini was an Investment Director at LDC, the private equity arm of Lloyds Banking Group and historically, she ran the Group’s ‘plain vanilla’ International Trade Finance business. Prior to this, Shalini co-founded the world’s first online ‘bank to bank’ trade finance company. She was a management accountant at Deutsche Bank and worked in various finance related roles for Bankers Trust, Natwest Bank and Coopers & Lybrand.
Shalini is a Member of the Mayor of London’s Business Advisory Board.
She is a Fellow of Burton & South Derbyshire College. She is also a judge for the Great British Entrepreneurs Awards and the National Business Awards. Shalini is a Champion for Tech London Advocate, member of the Advisory Committee of the Commonwealth Entrepreneurs and an Ambassador for Recordsure.
She was formerly a Member of the Advisory Board for the Centre for Entrepreneurs (CFE) and on the Development Board of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, as well as a judge for IBM Smartcamp.
