073 Good Ok Very Good

What do you answer when people ask “what do you think?” In this episode, ShaoLan and Josh from Transition band will teach you a useful way to express your opinion in Chinese. Learn how to rate your experiences and show your pleasure or displeasure with almost everything!

A useful word 好 (hǎo) is widely used in daily life, which means “ok” and “good”.

To express negative assent or opinion, you simply add 不 (bù) or “no” before 好 (hǎo), to mean “not good.”

More expressions include “ok, not bad,” and “very good.”
